Worst Possible Interview Mistakes
International Medical Fieldwork agency Healthcare Landscape’s brave, high- spirited team are participating in a challenging 500ft charity abseil for Guys & St Thomas Kidney Patient Association (GSTTKPA) on Sunday 25th April 2010.
GSTTKPA is a charity that facilitates people with kidney disease by improving their quality of life. Its objectives is to continuously raise money for patient facilities, support research and to ensure that patients and their carers try and lead as close to normal social life as possible.
Iva decided to participate in this event to achieve ‘two goals with a single challenge’. She says doing this event
“makes me feel scared, terrified, frightened, and anxious about my life expectancy.. however the fact that I’m daring to do the abseil shows how dedicated I am to raising money for GSTTKPA!”
As one of the highest buildings in London standing approximately 469ft tall, abseiling down Guys Hospital Tower has got be one of the most thought-provoking but inspiring ways to raise funding for GSTTKPA. Abseilers when on top of the Tower will be higher than the London Eye and should be able (if not too nervous) to take in the breathtaking views of the city of London.
Despite her fear of heights, participating in this event was Aneesha’s way for ‘doing her bit’ for a close friend who has advanced stage Nephritis and for other sufferers. She believes that even though abseiling is
“scary, it sounds more fun than a run or a walk. By getting involved with the added bonus of people donating, will mean a lifeline to those who need the money desperately to get better! Every little helps!”
Being a person who enjoys testing himself, getting involved in this fundraising event is Arun’s idea of adventure and fun. He adds
“ I love the fact that GSTTKPA have organised something this different and great. I am extremely excited and motivated to being able to contribute to this successful great event.”
Healthcare Landscape’s aim is to raise over £2000 for this well-deserving charity. To help smash this target please click on
